You own it
Your apps run in your own cloud account. The infrastructure, the files, and the database are yours, not ours.

Seedhouse by DevOpsFarm — Hand-Raised Infrastructure
Seedhouse installs and runs open-source apps on your private cloud. You own the infrastructure and the data. We handle the install, the updates, and the upkeep.
Seedhouse is a managed platform for self-hosted open-source apps. Pick the apps your team needs, run them on your private cloud, and let Seedhouse look after them.

From signup to running apps, in three steps. No DevOps hire, no DIY install, and no cloud credentials handed over.
1
Choose from modular, self-hosted open-source applications to optimize your SME.
2
Connect your own cloud account with a one-click CloudFormation link. We never handle your cloud credentials.
3
We install the apps on your private cloud, keep them updated, and you keep your data.
Teams of about 15 to 200 people that need real tools under their own control, without building an operations team.
If you do not have a DevOps hire and do not want one, Seedhouse is the operations team for your apps.
Self-hosted GitLab on your own account, with the rest of your stack alongside it when you need it.
Your apps run in your own cloud account, in the region you choose, so your data stays under your control and in your jurisdiction. That matters wherever you operate: data residency and control are legal and business questions, not just preferences, whether that is Québec's Law 25, Europe's GDPR, or your own internal policy. Sovereignty is not a feature bolted on later. It is how Seedhouse is built: your account, your data, your rules.
Hosted entirely on your private cloud, not on ours. Your files and your database stay in your account.
Data sovereignty and Law 25 were part of the design, not an afterthought: the infrastructure is yours.
Open-source apps, standard infrastructure, your account. You can leave with everything you built.
You get the apps, not the operations burden. Updates and upkeep are handled for you.
Seedhouse installs and manages open-source apps on your private cloud account. You pick the apps, we plant them, keep them updated, and look after them. Your data and infrastructure stay yours.
No. Your apps run in your cloud account, so your files and databases stay in your account. Seedhouse never takes ownership of your infrastructure or your data.
Yes, that is the point. Each module replaces a paid, proprietary app you rent today — Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, GitHub, 1Password and the rest — with an open-source equivalent you run yourself. You stop paying per-user rent for that tool and pay your cloud at cost instead.
It depends on team size. Replacing per-user subscriptions helps most as seats grow, because your cloud cost does not grow per user the way SaaS rent does. For a very small team the main win is control and sovereignty, not necessarily a lower bill. Your cloud runs at cost, plus a Seedhouse fee — details on request.
No. Seedhouse is built for teams that do not have one and do not want to hire one. You connect your cloud once, pick your apps, and we handle the operations.
You keep everything. Your apps, data, and infrastructure are in your account, built on open-source software and standard infrastructure, so there is nothing to hand back and no lock-in to escape.
Seedhouse manages updates and upkeep for your planted apps, so you get the apps, not the operations burden.
